Il consiglio di amministrazione della societ\u00e0, per affrontare <strong>finanze non in ottime condizioni<\/strong>, starebbe valutando la vendita di alcune delle principali attivit\u00e0, con la speranza ma non la sicurezza, di risollevarsi.<\/p>\n<p>Tra le varie opzioni ci sarebbe la cessione delle azioni del colosso dell\u2019ecommerce Alibaba, di cui Yahoo detiene il 15%, ma anche l\u2019<strong>abbandono di tutte le attivit\u00e0 web<\/strong>. In questo caso Yahoo rimarrebbe legata solamente al commercio online.<\/p>\n<p>Le speranze sono legate al consiglio di amministrazione, che dovrebbe pronunciarsi a breve e all&#8217;esperienza del CEO Marissa Mayer a cui \u00e8 stato affidato l\u2019arduo compito di traghettare l\u2019azienda fuori dalla spaventosa crisi. Andando incontro a questa sfida la Mayer ha deciso di concentrare gli sforzi attorno agli asset storici della societ\u00e0 &#8211; <strong>Flickr<\/strong>, il servizio <strong>Mail<\/strong> (ancora molto apprezzato) le <strong>News<\/strong> e i contenuti su desk e mobile &#8211; e ha portato avanti una profonda <strong>ristrutturazione e innovazione dei prodotti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In questo quadro rientrano il <strong>restyling di Yahoo Messenger<\/strong> che \u00e8 stato lanciato in questi giorni, in un clima di incertezza, proprio mentre il destino della societ\u00e0 \u00e8 ancora in discussione nel consiglio di amministrazione.<\/p>\n<p>Il sistema permette una nuova e pi\u00f9 semplice ricerca dei contatti ed un loro facile utilizzo. \u00c8 poi offerta la possibilit\u00e0 di condividere immagini, GIF animate e mostrare l\u2019apprezzamento con un <em>&#8220;like&#8221;<\/em>.
