Una scelta netta quella di Microsoft che ha deciso di mandare in pensione un suo stesso prodotto e quello che tuttora \u00e8 uno dei browser pi\u00f9 conosciuti al mondo: Internet Explorer.<\/p>\n<p>Il mutamento della navigazione, del web e dell\u2019approccio utente, un orizzonte diverso da quello entro il quale era stato progettato e pensato Internet Explorer, hanno reso necessario un prodotto nuovo, pi\u00f9 <strong>veloce, sicuro, compatibile con i nuovi standard<\/strong> e che accompagner\u00e0 per il momento l\u2019ultima versione di Explorer, la numero 11.<\/p>\n<p>Tutto ci\u00f2 \u00e8 risaputo, ma la novit\u00e0 di questi giorni \u00e8 un\u2019altra ed \u00e8 stata preceduta da diversi rumors. Proprio come si era vociferato nei mesi scorsi, pochi giorni \u00e8 stata ufficializzata la volont\u00e0 di rendere una parte di <strong>Microsoft Edge open source<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ad essere offerto al pubblico attraverso GitHub con il nome di <strong>ChakraCore<\/strong> sar\u00e0, in particolare, il motore JavaScript di Edge, sviluppato nel 2008 per Explorer 9 e che adesso \u00e8 entrato a far parte del nuovissimo Windows 10.<\/p>\n<p>Una scelta nient\u2019affatto casuale o scellerata. Al contrario risponde alla volont\u00e0 di Microsoft di <strong>accelerare lo sviluppo del progetto<\/strong> attraverso l\u2019aiuto di sviluppatori indipendenti o case come AMD o Intel che potranno lavorare direttamente sul prodotto e mandare utilissimi feedback.<\/p>\n<p>Cos\u00ec, gi\u00e0 a partire da questo mese gli sviluppatori interessati potranno avere tra le mani il codice sorgente, anche se per ora Microsoft non ha dato indicazioni su quali siano le priorit\u00e0 di sviluppo.
