Siete curiosi di sapere quali novit\u00e0 ci attendono? Oggi, parliamo proprio di questo!<\/p>\n<p>Per prima cosa <strong>Nano Server<\/strong> offre il deploy di un windows server sostanzialmente pi\u00f9 leggero: in modalit\u00e0 64 bit e con i servizi base, si arriva ad occupare solamente 400 MB rispetto alla classica versione che ci portava a ben 6 GB. Un cambiamento molto positivo, che rende l&#8217;OS decisamente pi\u00f9 slim e che da la possibilit\u00e0 agli utenti di personalizzare sempre pi\u00f9 l&#8217;installazione di WS 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Un&#8217;altra novit\u00e0 \u00e8 garantita da <strong>Powershell 5.0<\/strong>, che permette una buona usabilit\u00e0 ed un controllo gestione via shell. Molto gradita agli utenti sar\u00e0 anche la retrocompatibilit\u00e0, che ne garantir\u00e0 i benefici anche per le versioni precedenti a Powershell.<\/p>\n<p>Buone notizie anche per gli sviluppatori: l&#8217;introduzione di <strong>classi (sintax e semantix)<\/strong> e l&#8217;improvement nell&#8217;ambiente integrato di scripting. Questo render\u00e0 pi\u00f9 facile il lavoro a chi \u00e8 abituato ad usare altri linguaggi di programmazione.<\/p>\n<p>Altre gradite novit\u00e0 sono state presentate, come ad esempio il <strong>Virtual Desktop Infrastructure<\/strong>, ma ha destato maggiormente la curiosit\u00e0 degli addetti ai lavori l&#8217;avvento dei <strong>Windows Server Containers<\/strong>. Di cosa si tratta? \u00c8 presto detto: ci sar\u00e0 la possibilit\u00e0 di gestire diverse applicazioni su uno stesso sistema, utilizzando l&#8217;interfaccia a riga di comando Docker.<\/p>\n<p>Con una seguente technical preview inoltre, \u00e8 stato presentato <strong>Hyper-V Containers<\/strong> e sono stati risolti alcuni problemi di compatibilit\u00e0, emersi precedentemente. Per quanto riguarda Hyper-V, possiamo dire che ci permette di agglomerare i containers all&#8217;interno di VM leggere, permettendo un buon livello di isolamento.<\/p>\n<p>Dopo quest&#8217;analisi potremmo pensare che gli addetti ai lavori non vedano l&#8217;ora di poter aggiornare la versione di WS. Tuttavia sembra non essere cos\u00ec: con una nuova politica in ambito di licenze, la differenziazione tra <strong>versione standard e datacenter<\/strong>, diventa piuttosto marcata. Questo porter\u00e0 ad un implemento dei costi, per coloro che intendono servirsi di Windows Server 2016 su configurazioni multi socket con 10 core. La vendita delle licenze infatti, inizier\u00e0 un abbandono dei modelli per socket, prediligendo il sistema core.<\/p>\n<p>Ad ogni modo, \u00e8 ancora piuttosto prematuro un giudizio sul successo o meno della realese. Certo, i sondaggi e le stime non sono tra i pi\u00f9 ottimistici, ma i dubbi verranno presto chiariti. L&#8217;uscita \u00e8 infatti prevista per la met\u00e0 di questo anno, quindi manca poco.
